Bespoke
Maybe you’ve seen one of our pieces but want to customise the stone or metal, or perhaps you have an idea of your own that you’d like to make a reality—reach out to us. We’d love to create something entirely bespoke for you or a loved one.
+ Can you use my own metal or stones?
Yes, often we can use your own metal providing it meets our testing standard, and depending on stone condition. We reserve the right to decline use of materials if we feel it will have an unsatisfactory result for ourselves and the customer.
+ Can you do any design/style?
We love hearing your ideas for custom projects and enjoy the challenge of creating something that is different from what we currently make. However, for you to get the best possible outcome (we want you to LOVE the results) we generally prefer to work within the realms of our own style and if your idea is wildly different from that, we might not be the best match for you. We always suggest finding a jeweller whose work you love and getting in touch with them. We are part of a wide jewellery community and may be able to make suggestions for someone who is better suited to your ideas.
+ How long will it take?
It can vary but generally bespoke designs take around 6-8 weeks once we have signed off on designs. On occasion we can do our best to accommodate deadlines that are quicker but this will need to be discussed prior to the project commencing.
+ How does the bespoke process work?
1 — Send us your ideas and budget. If you already know what metals and stones (type, shape, size) you would like to use, please include this. The materials and designs may be restricted by your budget so it is important to establish this so we can tailor our design suggestions to achievable outcomes. If you have photographs, references or sketches, these are also great for us to see!
2 — If you are based locally, we can arrange a consultation at the studio where we can discuss your ideas further. For further afield customers, we are always happy to Skype or discuss over email.
3 — After the consultation, if you would like to proceed, a non-refundable design fee of £100 will required (this will be deducted from the final cost). This allows us to source material options and draw up sketches for you to choose from (we look to provide 3 designs, depending on your needs).
4 — Once you have chosen your perfect design and are happy to proceed, we will get you to sign off on the design and the making process begins! At this stage we will require a deposit of 50% to allow us to purchase your materials and get creating.
5 — We will keep you updated throughout the making process. Once it is complete, your piece will be available for you to come collect in person or we can send photos/videos and arrange shipping on the payment of remaining balance. We know how hard it is to figure out ring sizes while still being discreet. It can be useful to chat to a close friend who may be able to help judge sizing if you are buying a proposal piece. We offer free resizing within 3 months or purchase.
